Timberkin began out of irritation with modern craft boxes. Too many kits arriving in the mail were filled with flimsy foam, fragile plastic fittings, and blades that bent on the very first cut. We believed that hobbyists and makers deserved genuine materials that behave properly under a blade or chisel.

We chose four reliable materials and built our entire workshop around them: FSC certified birch plywood, hardened carbon steel, unbleached cotton canvas, and natural linseed oil. We mill our timber components with clean precision tolerances and inspect every batch before boxing.

We run an honest small-scale direct operation. We take payment through bank transfer and cash on delivery, packaging every order in heavy-duty cardboard to ensure your materials reach you flat, sharp, and ready for work.
